Graduation thank you notes, done before you start your new chapter.

You worked hard to get here. Let us help you thank everyone who supported you along the way. With personal notes, robotically handwritten, that they'll actually keep.

Graduation is a whirlwind. Between the ceremony, the parties, and preparing for whatever comes next, writing thank you notes to everyone who celebrated with you (and gave you gifts) can feel like one more assignment you don't have time for. But a robotically handwritten thank you note after graduation says something important: that you're the kind of person who appreciates the people who supported you.

Grateful makes graduation thank you notes effortless. Upload your list of gift-givers with names, gifts, and addresses. Choose a tone that sounds like you, whether that's mature and gracious, warm and genuine, or lighthearted and fun. Our AI writes a unique, personalized note for every person that mentions their specific gift and feels like you actually sat down and wrote it.

Every note is robotically handwritten with a real pen on real stationery and mailed directly to your recipients. Your grandparents get a heartfelt note about the cash gift you're putting toward your apartment. Your favorite teacher gets a meaningful thank you for the engraved pen set. And your aunt and uncle get a warm note that makes them feel like their gift truly mattered, because it did. Start your next chapter on the right foot, with gratitude.

To: Uncle Rob & Aunt Diana
Gift: Generous cash gift

Thank you so much for your generous graduation gift! I'm putting it toward my apartment fund for the fall, and it's going to make a huge difference as I get settled. I really appreciated you coming to the ceremony. It meant a lot to look out in the crowd and see your faces. Thank you for always supporting me.

To: Grandpa Joe
Gift: Leather messenger bag

The messenger bag is incredible. It's already packed and ready for my first day. Every time I sling it over my shoulder, I'll think of you and all the advice you've given me over the years (especially the one about always being early). Thank you for such a practical and thoughtful gift. I promise to make you proud.

To: Mrs. Patterson
Gift: Engraved pen set

The engraved pen set is beautiful. Having my name and graduation date on it makes it feel like a real milestone. I'm planning to use it to sign my first big contract someday (or at least my lease). Thank you for being such an amazing teacher and mentor these past four years. You made a bigger difference than you know.

To: The Hendersons
Gift: Amazon gift card

Thank you so much for the generous gift card! I've already started a list of things I'll need for the apartment this fall, and this is going to go a long way toward making it feel like home. It's such a thoughtful gift because you're letting me pick exactly what I need. I really appreciate you coming to the graduation party too. It wouldn't have been the same without you there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Grateful work for high school, college, and grad school graduations?

Yes — Grateful works for any graduation. Pick a tone that fits the milestone (lighter and casual for high school, more polished for grad school) and the AI generates notes that match the level of formality you'd expect for the occasion.

What if I'm thanking professors, mentors, or recommendation letter writers (not just gift-givers)?

You can thank anyone, gift or no gift — just enter the person's name and use the gift column to describe what you're thanking them for ("Mentorship throughout senior year," "Recommendation letter," "Endless support"). The AI writes a thoughtful note that acknowledges what they actually did, not what they bought.

Can I send notes to people in different countries?

Grateful currently mails to US and Canadian addresses. International addresses outside North America aren't supported in this release. For US-bound notes there's no surcharge; Canadian addresses include a small international postage surcharge.

Is there a discount for sending fewer notes?

Pricing is tiered by basket size. A single note is $10.99; 2-49 notes drop to $8.99 each; 50-99 to $7.99; 100+ to $6.99. There's no minimum, no subscription, and no fee to sign up — you only pay for the notes you send.

Can I edit a note after I approve it?

Once you click Send, that batch is locked in and going to the printer. Before sending, you can edit any individual note as much as you want, change the sign-off per recipient, or regenerate a note entirely. Most users review every note once and only edit a couple.
